Blasting – blasting services for surface treatment and cleaning using modern equipment
Blasting is a surface treatment technique used for cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting or other coatings. It is commonly used for rust and dirt removal, to create a smooth and even surface and to achieve better welding results.

Blasting methods and equipment
We use various blasting methods to provide our customers with the desired result. These include steel shot blasting, sandblasting, and glass bead blasting. The choice of blasting method depends on the surface to be treated, the material and the desired outcome.
Blasting is carried out in modern, purpose-built facilities adjacent to our welding hall. Our equipment consists of three blasting cabinets of different sizes for components up to 1m x 1m x 1m, as well as a large compressor that ensures efficient operation.

Blasting services for various needs – we offer fast service
You can order blasting services from us even if you do not use our CNC-machining services. In many cases, we can begin processing of the parts on the same day we receive them.
Blasting of CNC machined components is often used as a preparatory step before painting, blackening, or welding. We can also arrange painting services for our customers through our reliable subcontractors and handle transportation to and from the paint shop with our own vehicle.
We continuously invest in the development of our services to offer our customers cost-effective solutions. At Ferromek, you will find all services under one roof: CNC machining, blasting, welding, surface treatments, and assembly of components – carefully packaged and delivered with your preferred shipping method.

Steel shot blasting
Blasting with steel shot is an efficient method for removing rust, paint, and grease from components. After blasting, the surface has the ideal roughness for powder coating, ensuring excellent adhesion. The hardness of steel shot makes it effective as an abrasive material, quickly removing rust and dirt from rough surfaces. It is used for larger and heavier steel parts, welded structures, and more.
Sandblasting
Sandblasting is particularly effective for cleaning and removing rust and paint from metal surfaces. It is commonly used for aluminum and stainless-steel parts before painting or surface treatment.
Glass bead blasting
Glass bead blasting uses small glass particles to create a smooth and even surface. It is a gentler method that provides a refined finish without damaging the surface. Suitable for aluminum parts.
